Planning & Coaching

There are several ways we can work together to design and carry out a plan for the Second Half of your life.

1:1 Planning

I am a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor. I can work with you to create a full, detailed retirement plan on your behalf. While this traditionally has been a financial document, I take a different approach, talking with you about your hopes and wishes, your concerns and fears. Your personalized plan will contain financial targets and what you need to reach them. But it will also include options and “what ifs” like “What if we move somewhere with a lower cost of living?” or “What if I change jobs to reduce my stress?” Your plan fee includes a 6 month and 1 year check-in, as well as 1 year access to all the DIY tools.

Couples/Friends Planning

For many of us, planning for our second half involves at least one other person. Whether that’s a spouse, sibling, child or friend, we may be making decisions and pooling resources with someone else. Hell, you might be creating an intentional community with several people! We’re Gen X, we’re not going to retire like our parents!

In these sessions, I work with both (or all!) of you to discuss goals, dreams, wishes and fears. Everyone has a different vision of what life after 60, 70 or 80 will be like. Everyone has different confidence in their ability to age gracefully. But together, we can create a unified vision of what being together in the second half of life will look like. Your plan fee includes a 6 month and 1 year check-in, as well as 1 year access for each person to the DIY tools.

Group Coaching

In group coaching, each participant creates a plan, with my guidance and support. You get to hear how other people are approaching their plans in a small group setting (never more than 8 participants). Over the course of 4 sessions, you will learn what to consider, things like: how inflation and compound interest impact your savings and expenses, how to maximize tax implications now and in the future, what to expect from Social Security, and more. Together we will brainstorm, encourage and support each other.
Includes 6 months access to DIY tools, which you’ll be guided through how to use for maximum benefit.

Upcoming Sessions:

  Wednesday evenings (7pm ET), May 21, 28 + June 4, 11, 2025

  Saturday mornings (11am ET), June 7, 14, 21, 28, 2025
